1998 sind torchous der Berliner Independentszene entsprungen, spielten vielzählige Konzerte im ganzen Land zusammen mit Bands wie sensefield, cable car theory, kevlar, slowride, pale, pleasure forever, sometree, delbo und das zuckende vakuum. 2001 veröffentlichten sie die EP rock beat break in Eigenregie. Im Mai 03 wurde das Album cut the plans veröffentlicht, aufgenommen unter der Regie des Berliner Produzenten Anton K. Feist.
In 1998, Torchous arose from the indie scene of Berlin. They played a lot of shows all over the country, joining forces with bands like sensefield, cable car theory, kvlr, slowride, pale, pleasure forever, sometree, delbo and das zuckende vakuum. In 2001 they released the EP "Rock, Beat, Break". In May 03 the debut album "Cut The Plans" was released, having been recorded under the direction of Berlin producer Anton K. Feist.
